Sustainability
We take sustainability very seriously
We use a few different data centers to host our websites and other services. All are 100% powered by zero carbon renewable energy.

HETZNER
Hetzner Online uses electricity produced by wind for their German servers, and wind and hydropower for their Finnish servers. Both setups are independently verified and you can download their certification for hydropower and windpower.
GleSYS
GleSYS uses 100% renewable energy for their data centers and offices and have been certified as a “Good Environmental Choice” by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. They are also ISO14001 certified. Their Swedish data centers’ excess heat is used to provide citizens in Falkenberg and Stockholm with district heating.
Tree planting
In order to make double sure we’re not creating any emissions we also plant a tree for every 10 websites we host, either at our own locations, via local tree-planting initiatives or via verified global tree-planting partners.
